Lexington
Beam mantel
shelf was
developed as
a result of
the
incredibly
successful
Shenandoah
Mantel. We
found that
many people
were buying
the Sheridan
and
installing
it without
the Corbels.
As a
response we
are pleased
to offer the
Lexington
Beam shelf
either
unfinished
or the
# 90 Antique
Birch.
People are
often
surprised
that the
quality is
even
apparent
when they
examine the
construction
detail from
the hidden
back side of
the mantel.
Cabinet
makers and
contractor
shake their
heads and
admit they
can not buy
the
materials
and build
this mantel
for as
little as we
sell it for.
It is for
this reason
that most
builder use
scrap trim
to build
their
mantels and
just paint
it. Instead
of a center
piece of
furniture it
is just an
extension of
the home's
trim.
